Matt started his career in financial planning in 2005.  After spending 10 years at Edward Jones Investments, he founded Ross Financial in 2015.  He currently holds the designations of Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Accredited Investment Fiduciary from the College of Financial Planning.  His licenses include the Series 7,9,10,63 and 66, along with Life and Health insurance licenses.

Matt has been a resident of Snohomish County for 35 years and currently resides in Snohomish with his wife Heather and their 2 girls, Kennedy and Peyton.  They attend Snohomish Community Church and enjoy traveling to sunny locations, skiing, surfing and golf. 

Dylan Simons

Wealth Advisor

Dylan transitioned to the financial services profession in 2014, prior to joining Ross Financial he served as a financial advisor with a not-for-profit organization in Seattle and Wells Fargo Advisors. He currently holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 License, in addition to his Life, Health, and Long-term Care Insurance Licenses.

Dylan is a Washington native; he grew up working in the construction industry for C.O. Simons Construction. He is an avid hiker in the summer and skier in the winter. Out of his many hobbies, his favorite is woodworking. His passion is in creating, so whether he’s crafting a financial plan or a cedar strip canoe, he is always working to create value. He also founded Little Grandma’s Kitchen in Kirkland where they serve the best breakfast burritos in the state. He lives in Mill Creek with his dog Rocko. 

Hayley Newman

Wealth Advisor

Hayley Newman joined Ross Financial in 2019. Prior to joining the team, she worked in customer service and bookkeeping. She attended the University of Washington and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She currently has her series 7 & 66 licenses and is operating in an advisor capacity for Ross Financial clients.

Hayley is from and currently lives in Mill Creek Washington. Outside of work she enjoys watching football, spending time with her family, and walking her dog Indi. She is passionate about travel, fitness, and horseback riding.  

Jon Schuette, MBA

Wealth Advisor

Jon Schuette has over 25 years of experience and a deep knowledge of investments, insurance products, retirement planning, and financial planning, mostly with Russell Investments.

Jon’s philosophy is to help clients achieve their financial goals and desires both before and during retirement. His customer-centric values focus on integrity, diligence, due care, and the client’s best interests. He accomplishes this by listening, discussing, and creating a plan that targets retirement, risk management, estate planning, and investments.

Jon received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and his Masters in Business Administration from Cedarville University in Ohio. His licenses include Series 7 and 66, along with life and health insurance licenses.

Jon, his wife, Camille, and their two sons, Adam and Ethan, live in Gig Harbor. His family attends Believers Fellowship Church and enjoys mountain climbing, skiing, and watching and playing soccer. Jon enjoys playing music, going to concerts, and working on challenging home projects.

Hannah Elzea

Office Manager

Hannah started her career in the financial services industry in 2016. Her primary responsibilities at Ross Financial include managing business operations & client services, with a focus on client on-boarding, marketing & technical support. Hannah is also a Notary Public, a service she gladly extends to our clients.

Pacific Northwest native, Hannah resides in Marysville with her husband Joe and two children, Leo and Micah along with their two German shepherds & cat. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, practicing yoga & house projects.

Laura Davis

Client Relationship Specialist

Laura Davis joined our team at the start of 2023, prior to joining Ross Financial she served as a Licensed Private Client Banker with a large commercial bank. She currently holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, in addition to her Washington State Insurance Producers License.  Laura is a notary public, a service she gladly extends to our clients.

Laura has been a resident of Snohomish County for five years and resides in Edmonds with her husband Stephen and three of her five children, Samuel, Leland, Olivia as well as Snowball the cat and Luna the Guinea Pig.

Kathy Ligocki

Client Services Manager

Kathy began her financial career in 1981 at a major credit union in Seattle. After taking a few years off to devote time to raising her two young children, she returned to the workforce in 1995, bringing with her a wealth of experience. For over 29 years, Kathy has been a valuable member of Fleury Financial, where her role encompasses client operations, services, and client liaison. Kathy seamlessly transitions her expertise to Ross Financial in 2023. Her commitment to excellence and expertise in client relations make her an essential part of the team. In addition to her financial responsibilities, Kathy also serves as a Notary Public, adding another layer of versatility to her skill set.

Kathy was born and raised in Bremerton and now lives in Olalla with her husband, 4 dogs, and 2 cats. She retired as the associate artistic director of a dance academy and served as a choreographer for several community theaters throughout Kitsap County. Kathy enjoys music, camping, hiking, and other adventures with her family, especially her two grandchildren.

Kristi Sundberg

Financial Administrator, IT Manager

With a remarkable 43-year career in the financial planning industry, Kristi has been a dedicated member of the Fleury Financial team from beginning to end. Kristi transitioned to Ross Financial in 2023 where she leverages years of industry experience. Her educational journey includes attending Northwest College and the College for Financial Planning, where she successfully obtained the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification. In addition to her financial expertise, Kristi serves as a Notary Public, adding another layer of valuable skills to her professional profile. With a rich background and a commitment to excellence, Kristi plays a key role in providing excellent client service.

Port Orchard has always been home for Kristi, where she shares her house with her tabby cat Jake. She attends Christian Life Center, where she is a part of the greeting team and a team leader for the annual Cruisin’ Sunday car show. In her free time, she loves traveling, gardening, hiking, and genealogy.
