Yes! While many of our clients are in Western Washington, we work with retirement savers all over the United States. Our firm is equipped to meet with clients and potential clients through the video conferencing software, Zoom. Each virtual meeting is protected by a complex, unique password and we adhere to the strict security guidelines necessary to protect your privacy.
Our fee structure is simple and transparent. We are a commission-free (a.k.a. fee-only)* retirement & tax planning firm. Our fees depend on your needs and complexity and are a transparent line item on every statement. The annual fee we charge is assessed on a quarterly basis and is taken directly from the account. Some financial advisors are commission-based, which may cause fees to be hidden or create conflicts of interest. Not Ross Financial Inc. We do not! The one transparent fee that we charge includes the management of all your investment accounts held with us, plus ongoing retirement and tax planning. There are no hidden fees or hourly rates. We only charge on the assets we manage. In addition to our guidance on the investments we manage directly, we also offer many other benefits and guidance when it comes to other financial aspects of your life that we do not directly manage. Have questions about your 401(k), we have guidance one that. Questions about estate planning, we can offer clarity.
Our service model is what sets at the front of the pack. We customize our service to your unique situation. We reach out at regular intervals throughout the year based on your goals, needs, and time horizon. We are proactive when it comes to making sure we are taking care of you. But our door is always open and we are available when life throws you an unexpected event. Our service model is built to make sure that we not only earn our keep but add true value to your life.
We do our best work with people looking for long-term relationships. Currently, our firm is not equipped to offer an hourly fee schedule or a one-time project fee option. Great question! But first, let us explain why you shouldn’t hire us. If you’re looking for an advisor who will trade stocks to “beat the market,” you’re in the wrong place. Why? Because we only focus on what we can control. Predicting if the stock market will go up or down, or guessing what interest rates will do next, are not things you can control. But if you’re interested in things like lowering your tax bill, investing smarter, and creating a reliable income stream in retirement, you’re in the right place.
