Russ has been helping individuals and families plan for their financial futures since 2015. His path to the profession began years earlier, watching people close to him navigate the 2008 financial crisis — an experience that left him with a lasting conviction: a sound financial plan is one of the most important foundations of a family’s stability.
Russ’s philosophy centers on the client, not the account. He believes the best advice starts with listening. Asking thoughtful questions and peeling back the layers to understand what truly matters to each family. To Russ, clients are never a number; they are people with families, hardships, and triumphs, and doing right by them always comes first. He views his work as more than a career — it’s an opportunity to help families succeed financially, through every season of life.
Russ received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington Bothell and his Master of Business Administration from Eastern Washington University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and his licenses include the Series 7 and 66, along with a life insurance license.
Born and raised in Kirkland, Russ lives in Bothell with his wife, Cindy, and their two dogs. They are members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Bothell and enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, and trying new foods. They love soccer, football, and baseball, and Russ loves playing piano and gardening.
